Hokema - B5 Kalimba - Pocket Kalimba

I was skeptical anything this small could produce real tone, but the solid wood block gives it a warm, resonant ring that lasts surprisingly long. It's become my go-to for quick melodies on lunch breaks, and the pocket size means it's always with me without being a hassle.

The solid American wood body feels dense and warm in my hands, and the bass notes punch way above the size. I've been carrying it in my jacket pocket all week, and it still holds tune after every walk.

For a kalimba this small, the bass notes are surprisingly full and warm. I’ve been taking it everywhere in my jacket pocket and the tuning has held steady even after a week of casual playing.
