Therabath has done it! Thanks to their new Safe Quick Melt setting, they have solved the problem of melting the paraffin in half the time of other models, but in an always-safe temperature range. Most units melt quicker by raising the temperature of the unit to an unsafe level that can burn. The Safe Quick Melt setting means no more waiting for the wax temperature  to come back down before safely dipping. Powerful, this unit will safely melt 6 lbs. of paraffin in just 3-4 hours. Therabath Paraffin Bath Systems are the ideal heat therapy solution for relief of pain caused by arthritis, bursitis and chronic joint inflammation. The Therabath system also helps to relax muscles, relieve stiffness, ease muscle spasms and improve circulation.

Additionally, paraffin baths are great at soothing and conditioning hands, feet and elbows. This package includes the Therabath unit with the Safe Quick Melt setting, grill, lid and complete paraffin therapy guide. Please note, paraffin is not included but is available separately. Paraffin is available in a wide variety of scents including Wintergreen, Lavender Harmony, Vanilla Cupcake, Eucalyptus Rosemary Mint, Clearly Coconut and many others. It's also available unscented. Weighing only 12 lbs., the unit is lightweight and easy to move across the room where it's needed or from room-to-room. Therabath unit is durably built to withstand continuous use in high traffic clinics, but lightweight and portable to be great for home use as well.

So versatile, paraffin treatment therapy is regularly used in rehabilitation protocols. It effectively increases blood flow and is often used to warm up an area of the body prior to the start of a rehab or PT session. Easy to clean by just removing the wax, wiping out the inside of the tub and using a soft paper towel and all-purpose cleaner. Included with this unit is 6 lbs. of unscented paraffin wax.
